Ingredients
- 8 slices of ciabatta bread
- 2 garlic cloves, halved
- 4 tbsp of olive oil
- 1-2 cans of sardines, (butterfly)
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
- fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.

Rub the garlic cloves onto the bread slices. Bake in the oven for 5-7 minutes or until crispy.In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed sardines and diced tomatoes.

Season with salt and pepper.Top the bread slices with the sardine and tomato mixture.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves
