Fish Shawarma

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. skinless fish fillets, cubed or squid works really well

  • 1 onion, finely sliced 

  • 4 tbsp. oil

  • 1 tbsp of tahini
  • 1 tsp. sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced  

  • 1 tbsp. paprika

  • ½ tsp. ground coriander

  • ½ tsp. turmeric

  • ½ tsp cumin

Instructions

  • Heat the oil and chop the onion in half then finely.

  • Fry gently for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

  • Chop the garlic, add the spices and fry for 2 more minutes. 
  • Add the fish and keep stirring till it’s cooked, for about 10-15 minutes.

  • Mix in one tbsp of tahini.

  • Serve with a flat bread
