Creamy Lobster Pasta

Ingredients

 

  • 1 whole cooked lobster 
  • 2 cups cream
  • 2 stalks chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp chopped tarragon and chives
  • salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp red crushed pepper 
  • 1/2 medium onion chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 14 oz  linguine or fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lemon and parmesan as required
  • Instructionss

  • Extract the lobster meat and cut the into chunks or you can finely chop it so that it is evenly distributed throughout the sauce. 
  • In large pan, sauté the onions in butter,add the garlic, celery and cook for about 1o minutes on medium heat.  Add the chopped tarragon, red crushed pepper, salt, black pepper and stir. Add the cream and lobster and turn off heat, leave for a further 5 mins Meanwhile cook the pasta according to the packaging instructions. Make sure to reserve about a 1/2 cup of pasta water
  • Add the pasta and mix in some butter, sprinkle on parmesan, squeeze of lemon.
